The district's expanded partnership with local businesses is helping Tegeler Career Center students by giving them more chances to learn by doing and earn industry-recognized certifications in 2026. The campus is still an important part of the "San Jac Promise" program, which makes it easier for graduating seniors to go on to college at San Jacinto College. Also, student artists from all over the district, including those at specialized centers, were recently honored for being chosen for the 2026 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo School Art Auction.
