The Pirate Band from Poteet High School recently celebrated their success at the 2026 UIL Concert and Sight-Reading evaluation, where they got the best scores. The campus is also adding new hands-on modules to the health science lab to help students get ready for professional certifications. This is part of the school's effort to expand its Career and Technical Education offerings. This April, the school is also holding a series of evening workshops to help seniors and their families with the last steps of enrolling in college and checking their financial aid.
