About Galveston Co Jjaep

The Galveston Co JJAEP School is in League City, Texas, and is part of the Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program. This program helps teens, especially those in grades 10–12, who can't go to regular schools because of behavior problems or legal issues. The goal of this program is to help students stay on track to graduate by helping them with their schoolwork and behavior. It also really helps them when they have problems at home and with the law. There is one teacher for every 17 students here, which means that everyone gets more time with their teacher. Students do very well in school, even though it's an alternative education program. So, about 79% of students are good at math and 78% are good at reading. This just goes to show that changing the way we teach can really help students do well, no matter what happens. The most important subjects in school are reading, math, science, and social studies. They also have support services to help students get things back on track and return to their old schools.
