For the 2025–2026 school year, Westside High School is broadening its academic offerings by starting a new Early College Program. This program lets students earn an Associate's degree while still in high school. The campus is currently improving its career-readiness programs. For example, students in the Audio Visual Production program are getting real-world experience in a professional studio. The school is also working hard to improve Advanced Placement performance, with the goal of getting a double-digit rise in qualifying exam scores by the end of the term.
