The girls' basketball team at Summer Creek High School just won the UIL Class 6A Division I State Championships for the second year in a row. A junior player was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player. The National Merit Scholarship Corporation recently honored 22 students for their academic achievements. The school's JROTC cadets have also made it to the National Championship in Washington, D.C., after competing against thousands of teams from all over the world. The campus is also still working on its creative "Tiny Homes for Heroes" project.
