The Harris County Juvenile Detention Center in Houston is having more programs for young people to learn and get better. Students are staying on track with their education and getting ready to go back to school and society that focus on academics, counseling, and skill-building.

Ans. It is a program for students in juvenile detention that gives them a different way to learn.
Q2. Can students keep learning while they are in jail?
Ans. Yes, students do get academic instruction while they are there.
Q3. Does the program have counselors?
Ans. Yes, students get help with their behavior and schoolwork.
Q4. Can students get credits toward graduation?
Ans. Yes, credit recovery and academic progress are both supported.
Q5. Do students go back to regular schools after they are released?
Ans. Yes, students usually go back to their home schools.
