Being Updated
In early 2026, Parkland High School is celebrating a number of big student successes. For example, the JROTC Cadets finished the 26.2-mile Bataan Memorial Death March, and the Momentum Guard won a big regional competition. The technical and academic programs on campus are also doing well. The Technology Student Association (TSA) is winning a lot of regional contests, and a few seniors have won prestigious Excellence Scholarships to UTEP. The school also recently honored Ms. Sylvia Weaver as the 2026-2027 Teacher of the Year.

Ans. Yes, students work on projects and do things that help them learn skills they can use in the real world.

Ans. Respect, working together, and being responsible make sure that the school culture is safe, welcoming, and open to everyone.

Ans. Yes, students can find out more about art, music, and new projects that will help them be more creative.

Ans. Students can take the SAT and ACT tests on-site or through programs that work together.

Ans. Parkland H S has a college-preparatory curriculum and gives students chances to learn through practical activities and improve their skills.
