In 2026, Franklin High School keeps reaching important goals. The boys' track and field team, for example, made history by being the first 6A regional champions in the district. The Franklin High Robotics Team did so well at the state level that they went on to the VEX Robotics World Championship in 2026. This is one more reason why the campus is celebrating its global reputation in technology. Also, being a leader among students is still very important. The Mayor of El Paso honored a number of students for their great work, and the school won the first-ever district-wide attendance competition.
