Newman International Academy at Gibbins recently held its Annual College Fair. Over 25 universities, trade schools, and military branches sent representatives to the Gibbins Gym to help students learn about different options for what to do after high school. The school's robotics team also reached a new level by competing in their first Tech Challenge League meet. Both campus teams showed off their great sportsmanship and technical skills. Also, the Texas Department of Agriculture recently named the academy "Best of the Bunch" in a statewide competition.
