Arlington High School just finished major renovations to its facilities. These included the opening of a new library media center and the remodeling of science labs that are now better suited for advanced group research. At the most recent UIL concert and sight-reading evaluation, the school's fine arts department won first place. Several ensembles received top marks. The campus is also expanding its "Colt Career Connect" program, which brings in professionals from different fields to run hands-on workshops in areas like digital technology and health sciences.
