It is one of three high schools in the Putnam City Schools district and is known as one of the best schools because of its long history of academic excellence and diverse student life. Putnam City High School is getting a lot of attention for its new programs and successes! Cruz Pulido, a graduate of OCCC and a video production expert for the Oklahoma Historical Society, recently taught a master class on lighting to the school's Cinema Production Crew. To make sure that students are safe while they learn, the Putnam City Schools district has also spent money on cutting-edge technology, such as AI gun detection software and advanced weapons detection systems in every school.
