The Redesign Program has helped Capitol Hill High School by adding new career academies focused on business and the arts. These academies give students more specialized paths to graduation. The Navy JROTC program at the school keeps getting awards for leadership and community service in the region. It teaches cadets discipline and civic duty. Also, the campus has made recent improvements to its facilities, such as new athletic equipment and renovated common areas that are meant to help students work together.
