The new high school building at ASTEC Charter High School is now open. It has modern classrooms and advanced science labs. The school is adding new electives in robotics and digital media to its STEAM-focused curriculum. This will give students high-tech skills that are useful in today's job market. The academy also just started a college-readiness mentorship program that pairs seniors with professionals to help them make the switch to college.
