Yonkers High School is a public high school in Yonkers, New York. The Yonkers City School District runs it. This is for kids in grades 9 through 12. The school is a big city high school with 2,000 to 2,200 students and 15 teachers for every 15 students. At Yonkers High School, the International Baccalaureate (IB) program is all about learning about the world and getting involved in the community. The school also has Advanced Placement (AP) classes and a hard college prep program. The way IB works encourages students to get involved in their communities. A graduate can get a regular diploma, a Regents Diploma, or a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation. 64% of students met math standards and 79% met reading/ELA standards as of the 2025–2026 school year. This shows that the students did a great job overall. There are a lot of different kinds of students at Yonkers High School. They can do a lot of different academic and extracurricular activities that help them get ready for college and become better people in a community-oriented setting.

We are so excited to announce the name of our new playground! Following a school-wide and Robinson community vote we narrowed a large list of names down to four. Since our students will be using the playground on a daily basis, we gave them the final vote! 476.....

The recent successes of Yonkers High School are making waves! The varsity boys baseball team at the school has been doing well, beating Riverside High School and Lincoln High School in games. The school is also part of the Y-Zone initiative, which works to close digital gaps in downtown Yonkers. Students research the problems and suggest ways to fix them. The school is also putting on college fairs and workshops, among other things, to help students do well.
