Being Updated
The West Bronx Academy for the Future is expanding its Advanced Placement (AP) offerings to include eight different courses from AP Calculus AB to AP 2D-Design as it continues to build a culture of academic excellence for the 2025-2026 school year. Recently, artist Carlos Torres Machado led a new series of student-designed murals that improved the school’s campus environment and turned the hallways into a colorful visual narrative of student aspirations. Also helping scholars are strong college-readiness initiatives like the “College Now” program and paid professional internships that bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world experience.
