The school has about 1,400 students in grades 9 through 12 and a student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1. It is known as one of the best schools in the area and offers a full curriculum, including Advanced Placement® (AP) classes, with a 16% participation rate, and it is one of the best high school in New Hampshire. There are a lot of different cultures represented in the student body. 44% of the students are minorities, and 31% are economically disadvantaged. 42% of students are good at reading and 17% are good at math. The school helps its students take the SAT and ACT to help them get ready for college. Manchester Memorial High School has added to its career-technical education path by building a state-of-the-art lab for hands-on health science and medical research training. The school also recently held a successful community service showcase where student-led groups showed off their local impact projects that they came up with through the new civic engagement initiative. Also, the performing arts department is getting ready for its next seasonal show, which is possible because the school's sound and lighting equipment in the audi to rium has been updated.
