Bedford High School is the best public high school in Bedford, New Hampshire. It is the only high school in the Bedford School District. There are about 1,470 students at the school, which serves grades 9 through 12. The student-to-teacher ratio is 13:1, which is good for students. With a 47% participation rate, it has one of the best Advanced Placement® (AP) programs in the state, and it is one of the best high school in New Hampshire. The campus reflects a diverse community with a 21% minority enrollment, while 5% of the student body is supported as economically disadvantaged. Academic excellence is a hallmark, with 85% of students reading well and 65% of students doing well in math. The school gives its students the SAT and ACT tests to help them get ready for college. Bedford High School is counted among the top schools for its high academic standards and its commitment to fostering an environment of intellectual growth and extracurricular success.
