The Vikings boys soccer team from John T. Hoggard High School won the regional final against Laney, a rival from across town, 3–0. In sports news, Adam Purzitza, who used to be the offensive coordinator at Hoggard, has been hired as the new head football coach at Eugene Ashley High.
