Being Updated
DeSoto Central High School is opening up more academic doors for its students by teaming up with Mississippi University for Women to offer dual-credit classes. This will give students more chances to earn college credits while they are still in high school. One of the school's students was chosen as the only representative from Mississippi for the 2026 Disney Dreamers Academy, which was a big deal for the school in digital media. The athletic department is also celebrating a successful season by naming Coach Jeremy Simpson the MHSAA Girls' Golf Coach of the Year for his leadership and the team's performance.
