Lewisburg High School, which is in Olive Branch, is a well-known public school for grades 9 through 12. It has about 1,200 students and a student-to-teacher ratio of about 19:1. It is one of the best schools in the state. The school is known as one of the best for getting ready for college. It has a strong Advanced Placement program that 51% of students take part in. There are 21% of students on campus who are minorities, and 17% of students are considered economically disadvantaged. Lewisburg High School has great academic performance, with 92% of students doing well in math and 64% doing well in reading. Organized participation in ACT and SAT tests also helps students improve their chances of getting into college, and it is one of the best High School in "Mississippi" . The school is a key part of the DeSoto County School District. It is in a neighborhood with a good reputation and a median home price that shows it is a nice place to live in the suburbs. In general, it is known for its high academic standards and its ability to consistently prepare high-achieving graduates.

The student-led PTO Snack Cart is paying for custom trophy cabinets to be put up at Lewisburg High School. These will help show off student achievements in a better way. The school recently held a huge College Night with representatives from more than 55 colleges and universities. It also announced new dual-enrollment opportunities with Lackawanna College. Also, the student-run Patriot Vision News has successfully returned to digital broadcasting, giving students a unique place to work on journalism and media production.
