Being Updated
Money Inc. recently named Lanier High School one of the Top 30 Best High Schools in Mississippi because of its strong AP program and partnerships with real-world businesses. This is just one more way that the school is building its reputation for academic growth. Several Bulldog football players officially signed letters of intent to play for college teams like Jackson State and Lane College. This was a historic moment for the athletic department. The school is also getting a $4.9 million EPA grant from the district to buy new, zero-emission electric school buses to replace the old ones. This will help improve the air quality in the community.
