About Biloxi High School

Biloxi High School is the best public high school in the Biloxi Public School District. It serves grades 9 through 12 and is the only high school in the district. With about 1,800 students and a student-to-teacher ratio of about 18:1, it is known as one of the best schools in Mississippi. The school has a strong academic culture and offers a lot of Advanced Placement (AP) courses, with 37% of students taking them. The campus is very diverse, with 59% of students being minorities and 53% being economically disadvantaged. Biloxi High School is getting ready for its next District Family STEM Night, which will take place in the junior high gym and involve the community in science and technology projects. The athletic department recently celebrated the hiring of a veteran head football coach who has been building high-level competitive programs for almost 30 years. The school is also still focused on celebrating each student's achievements. For example, they recently announced the Who's Who students for 2025–2026 and gave regional teaching awards to faculty members.
