Auburn is a historic city with about 24,000 people living there. It is across the river from Lewiston and has a mix of industrial history and natural beauty. The city high school education includes strong public schools and is close to well-known private schools. The curriculum focuses on career and technical education (CTE) as well as strong college-prep academics, which keeps graduation rates above average.
