Waldorf, Maryland, in Charles County, is a busy place to live and work. There will be about 83,500 people living there in 2026. It is just south of Washington, D.C., and has a suburban lifestyle with a lot of different kinds of people and a growing population. There are a lot of big high schools in the area that are run by Charles County Public Schools (CCPS). North Point High School is known for its tough Science, Technology, and Industry (STI) programs. The curriculum focuses on job placement. It offers many electives and championship sports and performing arts. Waldorf makes traveling to the capital cheaper for families.
