Germantown, Maryland, is a lively and diverse community in Montgomery County. In 2026, it will have 93,000 people. The I-270 "Technology Corridor" runs through it, and it feels like a suburb because of the biotech hubs nearby and Black Hill Regional Park. The public schools in Montgomery County (MCPS) do a good job. The curriculum is all about doing well in STEM subjects, the International Baccalaureate program, and making sure everyone feels welcome.
