Mrs. Lato, the assistant principal at Central High School, was recently named the 2025-2026 Louisiana Assistant Principal of the Year. This shows how well the school is run. The school year has also seen three amazing students—Christina, Kaitlyn, and Josh—become finalists for the 2025–2026 Student of the Year award. The school also continues to honor student success by giving seniors multiple National Merit Commendations for doing very well on recent qualifying exams.
