Recently, Paul Laurence Dunbar High School celebrated a number of students being named National Merit Semifinalists. This shows how hard they are working in school. The school's Math Team also won first place at the last state competition, which keeps the school's reputation for being good at STEM subjects. The Dunbar Cultural Center has also started new workshops where students can learn about different cultures through art and guest speakers.
