Paul Laurence Dunbar High School is a well-known public high school in Lexington, Kentucky that serves about 2,000 students in grades 9 through 12. It is known as one of the best schools in Fayette County Public Schools because of its high academic standards, which include the well-known Math, Science, and Technology Center. Recently, Paul Laurence Dunbar High School celebrated a number of students being named National Merit Semifinalists. This shows how hard they are working in school. The school's Math Team also won first place at the last state competition, which keeps the school's reputation for being good at STEM subjects. The Dunbar Cultural Center has also started new workshops where students can learn about different cultures through art and guest speakers.
