The Lafayette High School marching band, also known as the Pride of the Bluegrass, recently won its 25th state title. This is part of a long history of great music. At the 2024 leadership conference, students in the FCCLA program also did very well. Several of them placed in the top three in categories like Technology in Teaching and Interior Design. The school also cares a lot about the arts and getting involved in the community. For example, sophomore Abby Walker was named the local Youth Poet Laureate.
