Greenwood High School is a top public high school in Bowling Green, Kentucky, with about 1,250 students in grades 9–12. It has about 18 students for every teacher, which is one of the best student-to-teacher ratios in the Warren County Public Schools district. The school is known for its academic excellence and offers a wide range of Advanced Placement® courses. About 29% of students take AP® courses, and it is one of the best High School in "Kentucky" . There are a lot of different kinds of students at the school. 36% of them are minorities, and 42% of them are low-income. Greenwood High School has good academic results, with 51% of students being good at math and 59% being good at reading. It is one of the best schools in the area because the district gives each student about $13,678 and the community has a reputation for high achievement. Its strengths are a well-rounded curriculum and a lively school environment that gets students ready for both college and work.

Several students from Greenwood High School recently qualified for the Governor's School for the Arts. This shows how talented the school is in music, visual arts, and creative writing. Recent improvements to the athletic facilities on campus have been good for the campus. For example, there is now a new indoor practice space that can be used by several sports teams all year round. The Gator engineering program has also added new robotics modules, which let students design and test prototypes for competitions in their area.
