The Peace and Education Coalition HS offers an alternative path for out-of-school and off-track youth, ages 16-21, to earn a Chicago Public Schools diploma through flexible morning, afternoon and full-day classes. At the Paulina Street campus, we offer individualized instruction, credit recovery and social-emotional support, with teachers working together to develop success plans so each student can achieve graduation requirements. Principal Rebecca Kijek and staff emphasize welcome, safe classrooms and connect scholars to career, counseling and postsecondary resources. The school collaborates with community organizations to offer students academic mentoring and wraparound services that prepare students to make positive choices after graduation.
