In Aurora, Illinois, East High School is a public high school for grades 9–12. The only high school in East Aurora Public School District 131 is this one. The school has about 4,000 students and one teacher for every 19 students, which is normal for a big city high school. The student body is very diverse, with about 98% of students being minorities, mostly Hispanic. This makes for a rich multicultural environment. East High School students can take a lot of different classes, like Advanced Placement (AP) classes and tests, which about 44% of students do. They can also join a lot of clubs and activities outside of school. The school backs standardized tests like the SAT and ACT to help students get ready for college. About 6% of students will be good at math and 8% will be good at reading in the 2025–26 school year. The new "Skills for Success" course at East High School in Aurora, Illinois, is getting a lot of attention.
