Yreka High School students built an outdoor classroom that will help them learn better. There will be a pond in this classroom where students can work on their Natural Resources and Landscaping projects. There is also a strong sense of community and tradition on campus thanks to the active Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter and a lot of extracurricular activities, like an Esports team that is getting better and better at competitions. The school also recently honored local academic excellence by having seniors win county-level awards in the Poetry Out Loud competition.
