La Serna High School recently opened its new swimming pool and aquatics center, which is a modern space for both competitive and recreational use. The girls flag football coach was also honored by the L.A. Chargers after leading the team to its first league championship. This was a big deal for the school's athletic department. Also, students in the Film & Media Academy are using professional-grade technology and learning digital production skills that can be used in many different jobs.
