North County Trade Tech High is currently adding a new Construction and Engineering program to its hands-on curriculum. In this program, students work on real building projects with professionals in the field. The school recently got new Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and modern machines for its workshops. This way, students can learn how to use the latest tools used in the field. The campus is also adding more Career Technical Education (CTE) certification programs. This will give the Class of 2026 a direct way to get into high-demand trades and engineering jobs as soon as they graduate.
