The California Charter Schools Association recently named Dr. Derek King, the superintendent of Excelsior Charter Schools, the 2026 Hart Vision Equity & Innovation Leader of the Year. This means that Excelsior Charter Schools is well-known across the state as they head into the spring season of 2026. The Victorville campus is currently holding special workshops to help the Class of 2026 fill out college applications and financial aid forms. These workshops include direct help from counselors at Victor Valley College. The school has also officially opened enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year.
