Recently, Buena High School was named a 2026 California Distinguished School. This honor shows how dedicated the school is to helping all of its students do well and closing achievement gaps. The school keeps working to make sure its students are ready for the future. One way it does this is by holding Decision Day every year, which honors the different college and career paths chosen by its seniors. The campus has also kept its focus on community support and inclusivity. For example, it recently held the "Bowling for Hope" fundraiser to help kids in the area.
