Elsie Allen High School is going through a big change. It is becoming a specialized magnet school with a focus on project-based learning and its well-known University Center and public health pathways. The campus is getting ready for a bigger job that will start in the 2026–2027 school year, when it will officially start serving students in grades 7 through 12. The school's sports programs have also been doing very well lately. In early 2026, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors gave the football team a Gold Resolution to honor their North Coast Section conference title.
