Port of Los Angeles High School was recently named a 2026 California Distinguished School. This is a very high honor that shows how well it prepares students for college with a difficult, maritime-themed education. The campus is currently adding more Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways. These include specialized maritime and digital media courses that give students certifications that are recognized in the industry and hands-on lab work. The school is also holding special SAT prep sessions and events to help seniors get ready for college this March.
