About Opportunity Youth Academy

Opportunity Youth Academy is a public high school in San Jose, California that only serves students in grades 9–12. Opportunity Youth Academy has grown its re-engagement program by adding a flexible blended learning model that lets students balance their schoolwork with their other responsibilities. The program recently added new career technical education (CTE) modules that focus on industries that are in high demand. These modules give students certifications in addition to their high school diplomas. This spring, the academy is also offering personalized mentorship sessions to help students fill out applications for college and financial aid.
