James Lick High School is now using its new Comet Success Period, a daily block of time when students can get targeted academic help and enrichment directly from their teachers. The campus recently celebrated the completion of new science labs that have cutting-edge tools for the school's environmental and life science classes. The Puente Project at James Lick has also expanded its local mentorship program, which pairs juniors with professionals in the Bay Area to help them write their college personal statements.
