They can now apply to the B. Roberto Cruz Leadership Academy for the 2026–2027 school year. Families can choose a college-prep program that focuses on teaching students two languages and promoting social justice. The Travel Club is helping students become global citizens by planning a trip to South Korea in 2025 to learn about other cultures and how to be a leader. The academy also just started an after-school coding program that helps students learn technical skills and how to think critically by working on STEM projects.
