San Francisco County Civic Center Secondary School is making progress toward its goal of helping students succeed by using a small classroom cohort model that combines general education with specialized counseling and social work services. The historic John Swett building on campus recently got a big upgrade that included new utility infrastructure, classrooms, and a renovated cafeteria. Also, the school is still focusing on college and career readiness and early intervention strategies to make sure that students have a supportive learning environment. This is part of the district's budget priorities for 2025–26.
