The cafeteria, gym, and a special first-floor wing for STEM and special education are all being updated as part of a big modernization project at Phillip and Sala Burton Academic High School. The school is also adding more project-based learning activities in all subjects for the 2025–2026 school year to get students more involved and responsible. Recently, students in the College and Career Readiness Program went on inspiring tours of top universities like Stanford to learn more about the options they have after high school.
