Mission Continuation High School has strengthened its partnership with the YWCA by hosting "Parent and Me" events where leadership students lead creative arts and crafts sessions for families in the area. The school is also starting a Winter Academy program that will give students five extra days of academic help and enrichment to make sure they stay on track to graduate. In addition to these programs, there is a new photography elective and specialized college readiness workshops like "Cash for College" that help seniors learn how to get financial aid and what to do after high school.
