e3 Civic High is a new public charter school in downtown San Diego that serves students in grades 9–12. Located in the San Diego Central Library, this school is known as one of the best for civic engagement. It offers a unique urban learning environment. The school serves a wide range of students, with 98% of them being minorities and 74% of them coming from low-income families. e3 Civic High is known as one of the best schools because it uses project-based learning and has a 70% Advanced Placement participation rate. The curriculum leads to 37% of students being good at reading and 7% being good at math. The school makes it easy for students to take the SAT and ACT so they are ready for life after graduation.
