Recently, Salinas High School was added to the 2025 AP School Honor Roll. This is a prestigious award that recognizes the school for making students more ready for college and giving them access to advanced classes. A $32 million modernization project is currently underway on the campus. It will replace old portable buildings with a brand-new two-story wing that will have 16 standard classrooms and 6 science labs. The school is also adding more resources for students for the 2025–2026 school year.
