About Salinas Community

Salinas Community is a public school for students in grades 9 through 12 who want to learn in a different way. The Monterey County Office of Education runs four high schools, and this one is known as one of the best for helping a wide range of students with their needs. The school has about 16 students for every teacher, which makes sure that each student gets individual attention. Salinas Community's educational philosophy focuses on individualized learning paths that are tailored to the needs of each student. The student body is made up of people from many different cultures. The Salinas Union High School District is adding more health and wellness resources to its community-based programs at Salinas Community School. This will help the school better help its students. The campus is still focused on personalized academic paths. It has recently made its Credit Recovery and independent study options better so that students can reach their graduation goals. The school is also putting a lot of emphasis on career readiness by giving students new ways to explore different careers, such as connecting them with local industry mentors and giving them hands-on workshops to build their skills.
