Everett Alvarez High School held a steel signing ceremony for its new Visual and Performing Arts building, which will be the center of creative education on campus. The school is still adding more after-school tutorials and Saturday School sessions to give all students extra help with their schoolwork. The varsity softball team has had record-breaking success in sports, and Danielle Amendola, a student-athlete, set a new county record for strikeouts.
