The 36th annual National Classic is currently taking place at El Dorado High School. This is one of the best high school baseball tournaments in the country, and it draws top teams and scouts from all over the country. The campus is still doing well in the arts and academics. It recently held its first annual SPOTLIGHT Dinner for the orchestra program, and its percussion ensemble went to the WGI World Championships. The school has also improved its athletic facilities by adding a new lighting system to the turf field. This makes it possible for more sports and community events to take place at night.
