The California Military Institute is moving forward with plans to build a new $45 million gym and classroom building. The goal of the project is to give all cadets modern spaces for learning and sports. This new phase of campus growth comes after the school did well at the California Cadet Corps State Individual Major Awards, where a number of students won top honors for their military and leadership skills. The school has also started a new Future Ready program that uses advanced digital tools in the daily curriculum to make it easier to get college and career certifications.
